A man without a driver's licence and a woman with a suspended one were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving in Thompson July 7-8.
Thompson RCMP stopped a vehicle driving erratically on Thompson Drive around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and discovered that the 33-year-old make driver from Fox Lake Cree Nation did not have a licence. He failed a roadside screening test and later provided breath samples that were higher than the legal limit for blood alcohol content while operating a motor vehicle.
Just before 4 a.m. Wednesday, police stopped a vehicle outside Highland Tower on Princeton Drive. The driver, a 24-year-old female from Thompson, had a suspended driver's licence.
