A 25-year-old man from Thompson faces auto theft and impaired driving charges after a vehicle was stolen Oct. 18.
Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Commercial Place around 6:15 p.m Sunday and located it on Ashberry Place, observing an intoxicated man walking away from the vehicle. He was arrested and later provided breath samples 3.5 times the legal limit for blood alcohol content while driving.
The man is also charged with driving without a licence.
