On April 15, members of the Thompson Health Auxiliary officially unveiled the new bariatric bed they purchased for the Thompson General Hospital.
During this short get-together with hospital employees, auxiliary president Wendy Lucas said this extra-wide bed, which can also accommodate patients in palliative care, is worth $22,740 and is the only one of its kind in Thompson.
