Thompson RCMP are investigating the shooting death of a 24-year-old Thompson man.
Police were informed around 3 a.m. March 22 that a man had been transported to Thompson General Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. RCMP were dispatched to the hospital and the man died of his injuries.
Thompson RCMP are treating his death as suspicious and continue to investigate alongside the RCMP Major Crime Unit.
On the morning of March 22, RCMP were at a taped-off townhouse in Thompson’s Eastwood area that they believe is connected to this incident.
