The discovery of crack cocaine, marijuana, weapons and cash during a search of a Parkway Crescent home June 27 has resulted in three people facing drug trafficking charges.

The discovery of crack cocaine, marijuana, weapons and cash during a search of a Parkway Crescent home June 27 has resulted in three people facing drug trafficking charges.

Thompson RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at the residence around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. They seized about one ounce of crack cocaine plus multiple individual crack rocks as well as individual baggies of marijuana, various air pistols, knives and approximately $6,000 in cash.

A 19-year-old man from Thompson is charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime. A 30-year-old man from Thompson is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of treafficking  and possession of proerty obtained by crime. Cynthia Harlem Cook, 26, of Thompson is charged with posessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime.
