Three men attempted to exchange American $100 bills at a Thompson bank June 22 but employees suspected they were fake and contacted Thompson RCMP.
Police seized the bills, which all had the same serial number – LB45440078L – and ask local businesses to be aware of this incident and to contact RCMP if they suspect they have accepted any of these bills.
