Two Thompson residents are facing driving, weapons and proceeds of crime charges after being stopped by Thompson RCMP near Pisew Falls.
The traffic stop took place around 3 a.m. Oct. 7 on Highway 6 south of Thompson. Police searched the vehicle, finding a can of bear spry and cash believed to have been obtained by crime.
A 32-year-old man faces charges for driving while disqualified under the Highway Traffic Act as well as possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possessing property obtained by crime. A 19-year-old woman faces charges of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possessing property obtained by crime.
Thompson RCMP continue to investigate.
