17-year-old carrying two BB guns arrested for breaching court order

A 17-year-old youth was arrested by Thompson RCMP while carrying two BB guns Oct. 23.

Police were notified of a person on the Millennium Trail in the Westwood area carrying a large gun just after 5 p.m. Friday. Responding officers located the youth with the BB guns, one of which was an assault rifle style model while the other was a handgun.

The youth was found to be in breach of a court order and remanded into custody. Police continue to investigate.
