16-year-old suspected of damaging Co-op gas station doors arrested after tip from the public

A 16-year-old Thompson male was arrested for mischief under $5,000 Oct. 3 in connection with damage caused to the Thompson Co-op Gas Bar Sept. 22.

Two suspects were captured on surveillance video throwing rocks at the Co-Op door and kicking it around 6:40 a.m. Sept. 22, causing significant damage.

The suspect was arrested based on a tip from the public. He is also charged with multiple breaches of a court order and was remanded into custody. Thompson RCMP thank the community for providing the information that led to the identification of the suspect.
