14-year-old arrested after Thompson RCMP respond to break-and-enter in progress

A 14-year-old intoxicated youth was arrested by Thompson RCMP around 3:15 a.m. Jan. 26 after they responded to a break-and-enter in progress on Grass River Drive.

A 14-year-old intoxicated youth was arrested by Thompson RCMP around 3:15 a.m. Jan. 26 after they responded to a break-and-enter in progress on Grass River Drive.

Area residents identified the youth and the 14-year-old faces multiple charges including break and enter, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, possession of break-in tools and mischief under $5,000.

The arrested youth was held until sober and then released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
