A 48-year-old woman from Fox Lake Cree Nation was found dead in an open area off Butnau Road near the baseball diamonds in Gillam Dec. 28, RCMP say.
The body was found about 3 p.m. and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier Saturday morning, around 11:40 a.m., an unresponsive man on a trail was reported to Selkirk RCMP. Police and emergency medical services attended and pronounced the 52-year-old man dead at the scene.
Neither death is believed to be the result of a crime but RCMP said the investigations are ongoing as they await autopsy results.
