Thompson RCMP officers were dispatched to Thicket Portage around 5:15 a.m. Jan. 1 after receiving a report of a stabbing.
The victim was transported to Thompson General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said, and a 31-year-old woman was arrested.
The woman faces charges of aggravated assault and multiple breaches of a court order and was remanded into custody. Police continue to investigate.
