Two Norway House men busted for trafficking crack cocaine

Eight people were arrested Dec. 7 in Norway House when RCMP executing a search warrant found crack cocaine, cash and other drug paraphernalia.

Police searched a residence on Paupanekis Point Road around 11:30 p.m.

Jared Hart, 25, and John Omand, 26, both from Norway House, are charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. They were remanded into custody.

The other six people arrested will be facing charges of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, say RCMP, who continue to investigate.
