Suspect arrested in God’s Lake Narrows stabbing that left victim with life-threatening injuries

A 39-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault in God’s Lake Narrows shortly after another man was stabbed on Feb. 16.

God’s Lake Narrows RCMP responded to a call about a stabbing around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday and arrived at the scene to find a 45-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the nursing station and then medevaced to Winnipeg.

The suspect was arrested soon after the incident and remains in custody. RCMP continue to investigate.
