A report of a man shooting at a residence in Split Lake Nov. 29 led to a 29-year-old being arrested for multiple weapons offences.
Thompson RCMP were dispatched to a weapons complaint in Split Lake around 8:30 a.m. Friday after First Nations Safety Officers reported that a man had shot at a residence. The community school, nursing station and band office were asked to initiate lockdown procedures.
Multiple RCMP officers were dispatched to Split Lake and arrested Sean Alfred Spence without incident at a residence. An air rifle was located in his possession and he was remanded into custody.
