Nelson House RCMP have laid charges after seizing cocaine and prescription medication while executing a search warrant May 4.
Police searched a residence on Spence Drive in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation just before midnight Tuesday and found approximately 90 grams of cocaine, prescription medication, cash and drug paraphernalia.
A 32-year-old man faces charges of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime and Nelson House RCMP continue to investigate.
