Little Grand Rapids RCMP seek missing man, investigate any connection to human remains found June 30

Little Grand Rapids RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate 27-year-old Lorne Delmar McKay, who has not been seen by his family since May 29 and was reported missing Aug. 4.

McKay is described as 5’10” tall and 180 pounds with short black hair, a moustache and brown eyes. Police say McKay is believed to have left the community May 29 and may be in Winnipeg.

RCMP are also investigating whether there is any connection between this missing persons case and human remains found June 30 in the community, which is about 280 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg near the Manitoba-Ontario boundary

The identity of the remains was described as unknown when they were located and Little Grand Rapids RCMP were investigating alongside RCMP Major Crime Services, Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
