Island Lake RCMP seized 140 grams of cocaine and 100 Percocet pills from a Sandy Bay First Nation man flying into the region on a commercial flight from Winnipeg March 13.
Percocet is a combination painkiller consisting of the opioid painkiller oxycodone and acetaminophen.
Lawrence Ashley McIvor, 26, was arrested and charged with two counts of possessing controlled substances for the purposes of trafficking. He was remanded into custody pending a court appearance in Winnipeg.
Island Lake RCMP continue to investigate.
