One man was killed and another suffered minor injuries when a vehicle heading south from Snow Lake went into the ditch and then rolled several times Oct. 24, RCMP say.

The single-vehicle collision occurred about eight kilometres south of Snow Lake on Provincial Road 392. It was reported to Snow Lake RCMP around 7:25 p.m. Thursday and their investigation determined that the 61-year-old driver from Snow Lake hit the shoulder of the roadway and was unable to regain control before the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled. Police say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 52-year-old man, also from Snow Lake, was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Snow Lake RCMP and a forensic collision reconstructionist continue to investigate the crash.
