Car driven by suspected impaired teen rolls multiple times

An 18-year-old is in hospital with life-threatening injuries and a 16-year-old charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a single-vehicle car accident near Lake St. Martin April 22.

Gypsumville RCMP responded to a rollover on Fairford Road, about half a kilometre south of Little Saskatchewan First Nation Main Road, around 8 p.m. The vehicle was travelling southbound when it went off the road and rolled multiple times. The 18-year-old female passenger was thrown from the vehicle. The 16-year-old female driver was not injured.

RCMP continue to investigate.
