ATV rollover kills Easterville man

A 33-year-old man from Easterville died Aug. 21 as the result of an ATV accident in which alcohol may have been a factor, say Chemawawin RCMP.

The fatal accident was reported to police around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Investigation determined that the man was driving on a service road in Easterville when the ATV rolled onto its side and the driver was thrown off, with the vehicle landing on top of him. He was not wearing a helmet. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chemawawin RCMP and an RCMP forensic collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
