Norway House RCMP seized 3.6 kilograms of marijuana and 935 grams of cocaine during a pair of traffic stops Dec. 27, resulting in five arrests.
Just after midnight that day, RCMP officers pulling over a vehicle noticed the driver throwing a bag out the window. The three male occupants – aged 24, 25 and 27 – were arrested and police located a bag containing about 3,600 grams of marijuana as well as some cash. Charges against the vehicle’s occupants are pending.
About 23 hours later, Norway House RCMP seized about 935 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop. A 47-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were arrested and charges are pending.
