Bruce Bodie was elected president of the Thompson Minor Hockey Association at a general meeting held Aug. 31 to fill the position, which had been vacant since early June.
Former president Troy Steeves submitted his resignation at the June 11 meeting of the board of directors, which accepted his resignation by a vote of 11 to five.
Since that time, Toni Paulic has served as acting president.
