The Special Olympics bowling team was tops in one category at the Special Olympics 2009 Provincial Summer Games in Winnipeg - it just wasn't an official event.
"I think we were the loudest team from the cheering," said bowling coach Sharon Ellis, who took two teams of five players each, one girls' team and one mixed squad, to the July 11 competition. "They had a very good time."
