R.D. Parker Collegiate’s senior girls’ basketball team went undefeated in four games to claim their second tournament victory of the season in Sanford Jan. 30-Feb. 1.
Erica Anderson of the Trojans was named the tournament MVP while Emma Deibert was selected as a tournament all-star.
RDPC opened the tournament with a 95-20 victory over Nelson McIntyre Collegiate on Thursday, then beat Westwood Collegiate 66-23 and University of Winnipeg Collegiate 60-39 on Friday before defeating Boissevain School 53-42 in the final on Saturday.
Following the touranment win, RDPC's seniro girls' team was ranked as the seventh-best varsaity AAA girls team in the province in the Manitoba High Schools Athleltic Associaton's Manitob Hydro weekly power rankings Feb. 4.
