Two members of the Thompson Northern Torpedoes swim club competed at Swim Manitoba's 2009 long course junior and 10-and-under provincial championships June 19-21.
Kaitlyn Lebrasseur finished fourth in the girls' 15-and-over 100-metre backstroke, sixth in the 50-metre backstroke and seventh in the 50-metre and 200-metre freestyle.
Justin Lebrasseur placed sixth in the boys' 11-12 50-metre backstroke, seventh in the 50-metre and 100-metre freestyle and eighth in the 200-metre freestyle.
The provincial championships attracted 197 swimmers from 13 clubs across Manitoba.
