Thompson's annual Terry Fox run is back for another year, says new organizer Tracey Williams, and gets underway this Sunday, Sept. 13 at the City Centre Mall, with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the run itself at 1 p.m.
Williams took over organization for the event as previous organizer Cheryl Broderick moved out of town after last year's run, which attracted over 100 participants and raised $7,100 for cancer research.
Pledge forms can be picked up at the Burntwood Community Health Resource Centre, Scotiabank, 610 CHTM and at the Terry Fox Run table during the City of Thompson's health and leisure mart Sept. 11-12 at the recreation centre.
