The Thompson Motocross Club is hosting an open house June 21 at its track just south of Thompson.
"Everyone is welcome to come out and ride our track for free on June 21, or just to take a look and enjoy the barbecue," said Nicole Lafreniere of the Thompson Motocross Club. "Lots of people don't know that the track is available so we want to promote it."
The track, located 20 kilometres south of Thompson on Highway 6, marked by a red gate on the left side on the way towards Paint Lake, will be open to all from noon to 5 p.m. on the last day of Nickel Days and free barbecue will also be available.
"Bring your bike or ATV along with riding gear," said Lafreniere.
Helmets are mandatory but full-body protection is recommended.
