The Thompson Golf Club's senior open took place on Aug. 2.
For the men's division 50 to 54 years, Earl Timmons had the lowest score, followed by Wayne Landers and Gerald Osbourne. In the 55 to 59 years category Greg Gallant had the best score, followed by Bill Ritchat and John Crossley. In the 60 to 64 years category Ron Mymko was first, Keith Mulligan second and Ken Smith placed third. In the 65 and over years category Dave Turpie had the lowest score, followed by Gene Cashman and then Jerry Ernest.
In the 1st Flight of the women's division Joyce Mymko placed first, followed by Mary Ernest and Lydia Penner. The 2nd Flight saw Brenda Pilon with the lowest score, then Sylvia Fassett and finally Virginia Goulet.
