Three charged with aggravated assault for April 5 incident in Thompson

Two men and one woman were charged and remanded into custody April 25 following an investigation into assault on a Split Lake man who was found injured and is still in hospital.

Three people were charged with aggravated assault April 25 in connection to an April 5 incident in Thompson that sent a Split Lake man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

RCMP have arrested and charged three people with aggravated assault in connection to a 32-year-old man found severely injured in a Thompson parking lot April 5.

Barbara Saunders, 31, Lloyd Colombe, 32, and Jimmy Anderson, 47, were charged with aggravated assault April 25 and no further arrests or charges are expected, police say.

All three were remanded into custody. 

Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the parking lot of a business around 10 p.m. April 5 and found a man from Split Lake with life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
