Thompson RCMP seeking information about what man found outside YWCA in August did in the hours before his death

Craig Lafoy Clemons, 52, left the YWCA around 10:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and was found unresponsive outside the building the following evening.

Thompson RCMP are asking the public to help them pinpoint what happened during the hours before a 52-year-old man died after being found unresponsive near the YWCA in August.

Craig Lafoy Clemons was found outside the YWCA on the evening of Aug. 21 and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

He had been seen leaving the YWCA around 10:25 p.m. the previous night and is believed to have been in the downtown area that night.

Clemons was 5’8” tall and weighed 150 pounds.

Anyone who saw or interacted with Clemons on the the night of Aug. 20 or the morning of Aug. 21 is asked to call Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be submitted online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
