Stabbed man hospitalized, suspect arrested

A 38-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening-injuries after being stabbed in Thompson on Feb. 15.

The victim, from Pimicikamak Cree Nation at Cross Lake, was found by Thompson RCMP officers responding to a report of a stabbing at a Princeton Drive residence around 4:30 a.m. He was transported to hospital, where he remains, in serious condition.

Guiseppe Ross, 31, also from Cross Lake, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and remanded into custody.
