Quality Inn & Suites Thompson took steps to recognize the efforts of local and visiting nurses during National Nursing Week May 9-15 by delivering cookies and flowers to Thompson General Hospital.
The hotel also provided guests who are nurses to chocolate and roses in their rooms.
“As we are coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have lots of reasons to thank our local medical professionals,” said Quality Inn general manager Akanshu Popli. “They have worked extra hours — sometimes double shifts — missed holidays and special occasions with their families, and had to endure their own experiences with the virus, all in the name of providing us and our loved ones with care.”
