Oxford House RCMP seize cocaine and guns during search

Three people are facing charges after Oxford House RCMP seized drugs, money and weapons as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Back lake area of Bunibonibee Cree Nation Jan. 17, seizing more than 50 grams of cocaine, money, two shotguns, three airsoft rifles and drug paraphernalia.

Four people were arrested at the scene but one was released without charges. 

A 55-year old man is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of unauthorized gun possession and two counts of unsafe gun storage.

A 48-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman are each charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime.
