Thompson RCMP arrested an 18-year-old man who was holding a knife and chasing someone inside a business April 8.
Police responded to a report of a man with a knife in a business on Mystery Lake Road who was being detained by a security guard around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. They learned from staff and security personnel that he had been chasing someone while holding a knife. No one was injured in the incident
Officers seized the knife and arrested the man for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The investigation is ongoing.
