Letter: Think of the unborn children when casting federal election votes

Letter writer hopes Thompson voters take unborn children into consideration when voting in the 2021 federal election.

Think of unborn children when casting ballots in Sept. 20 federal election, letter writer urges.

To the Editor:

I am concerned about how the votes in the 2021 federal election will affect unborn human beings in Canada. Canada has had no legal limitations on abortion since 1988. Though no political party that I know of that has candidates in Manitoba is officially opposed to the murder of live, unborn human beings at any point during gestation, there are political parties with candidates in Manitoba who do not mandate the views of their candidates on the issue of abortion, may allow their Members of Parliament to introduce private bills in harmony with their moral conviction(s) on abortion, and therefore allow a debate on abortion to occur in Parliament.

I hope that Thompson voters will take unborn human children into consideration when voting in the 2021 federal election.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).
