A 43-year-old Thompson man is charged with impaired driving and failing to stop after an accident following a collision on Brandon Crescent.
Thompson RCMP received a report of an impaired driver just before noon Oct. 24 and then another report of a driver hitting a parked car.
The suspect vehicle was located and the driver later provided breath samples with nearly twice the legal limit of blood alcohol content while driving.
The only occupant of the parked vehicle that was struck later went to Thompson General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
