Thompson Fire & Emergency Services put out a fire in the city’s Southwood area in the early hours of Sept. 17.
The firefighters on the first truck to respond saw heavy fire on the building’s exterior and fought it aggressively to bring it under control and limit the fire’s spread to the interior of the apartment and building, the Thompson Professional Firefighter Association said on its Facebook page.
No injuries resulted from the fire, the cause of which is under investigation.
