Three semi-trailers carrying diesel rolled on Provincial Road 373 near the ferry crossing into Norway House on Jan. 19, police say.
Two of the trucks spilled diesel onto the frozen river.
Norway House RCMP received the first call about a fuel truck rolling near the Ross Island ferry crossing around 8:20 a.m. The other two trucks rolled at the same location shortly afterwards.
Provincial Road 373 was closed briefly as a result of the accidents but has since reopened and the process of cleaning up the spilled fuel has begun.
Norway House RCMP and the province of Manitoba continue to investigate.
