Boil water advisory for Thompson ended May 13

Advisory began less than 72 hours earlier when routine testing indicated that poorly treated water may have entered the distribution system.

A boil water advisory that took effect in Thompson on the afternoon of May 10 ended May 13.

“The Thompson water system has met all conditions for rescinding the boil water advisory and that bacteriological testing results meet regulatory standards,” said a City of Thompson Facebook post just before noon on Saturday.
