A 17-year-old is dead after being run over on Provincial Road 373 in Norway House Dec. 8.
Norway House RCMP responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Norway House near Folster Drive around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigation determined that a 64-year-old Norway House man was driving south on PR 373 when he hit a person lying on the road. The 17-year-old was declared dead at the scene.
Police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the collision, which they continue to investigate with assistance from the Criminal Collision Investigation Team and a forensic collision reconstructionist.
