Thompson Festival of the Arts registration deadline Feb. 11

The Thompson Festival of the Arts will once again be holding vocal, choral, speech, piano/strings and visual arts performance sessions from March through April. Registration closes Feb. 11.

The Thompson Festival of the Arts will once again be holding vocal, choral, speech, piano/strings and visual arts performance sessions from March through April.

Registration closes Feb. 11. Speech and vocal performances will be held March 21-23 at the Juniper Centre multipurpose room, St. John's United Church and R.D. Parker Collegiate's Letkemann Theatre.

Dance performances will be held April 8-9 at the Letkemann Theatre and St. John's United Church.

Piano recitals will be held April 13-14 at the Letkemann Theatre and visual displays will be from May 27-28 at the Recreation Centre.

Anyone interested in registering can call Peggy Martin at 677-6174 for more information and entry forms.

Professional jurors assess the various works and annual Hi-Lites Concerts take place at the end of May.

The Thompson Festival of the Arts is one of 28 local community arts festival organizations across the province making up the Winnipeg-based Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals (AMAF), a non-profit organization that represents amateur community arts festivals across the province, which typically involve more than 60,000 people as participants, volunteers and audience members.
