Music night at the Heritage North Museum, a monthly event, was a great success on Feb. 13.
The cabin venue, decorated by organizers Amy Caldwell, who also works at the Thompson Citizen, and Tony Chouinard, was cozy and filled with multicoloured lights. Approximately 20 people came to hear the best of Thompson’s musicians in the log museum, evoking memories of the old days when trappers and explorers, snowed in and wrapped in darkness, played their instruments and sang into the northern night.
Music at the Museum admission fees are donated to the museum.
