The penultimate Concert in the Park event of 2017 took place on Aug. 25 at MacLean Park and featured 13-year-old Isabel Carter.
Despite her young age, Carter performed double duty by doling out tunes from a violin and ukulele, even though she only started playing the second instrument a few months ago.
The final Concert in the Park performance of the year is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. and will feature a special two-hour performance from local rock band the Average Joes.
