Despite being banished to the Thompson Regional Community Centre due to unseasonably cold weather, local musicians John Ham (guitar), Tracey “Smitty” Smith (bass) and Kory Wickdahl (drums) performed at the final noon-hour Concert in the Park show of the summer Aug. 24.

From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the TRCC lobby, the trio dished out a broad selection of classic rock hits, including “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf, “Come Together” by The Beatles and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by the The Rolling Stones.
