The Rainbow Society
Children in Thompson help to make dreams come true for Manitoba children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
Children at Ecole riverside School in Thompson are demonstrating philanthropy and celebrating the spirit of giving while selling shamrocks and wearing green to raise funs for The Rainbow Society's annual Wear Green for a Dream Campaign.
Founded in Winnipeg in 1983 as the first wish granting organization in Canada, the Rainbow Society is dedicated to fulfilling once-in-a-lifetime dreams for Manitoba children suffering from a life-threatening illness. To date, The Rainbow Society remains a Manitoba-based, non-profit, charitable organization and has made over 490 dreams come true for our children.

All Cancer Survivors, caregivers/family are invited to an “Afternoon Tea” at the Meridian Hotel on March 13th at 2:00 PM. A Survivor is anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer, whether you have had treatment or not. You are also invited to the Relay For Life April 23rd.
