Bennett told the Thompson Citizen that the Relay for Life has been running in Thompson for the last 16 years, and teams have collectively raised well over a million dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society.
This year’s festivities are set to start April 28 at the Thompson Regional Community Centre and will run from 5 p.m. to around 2 a.m.
