Lodie Ipeelie continued his hot hand for the Norman Northstars as he fired a hat trick Saturday to lead Norman to a 6-2 victory over Interlake Lighting and a split of their weekend series. Ipeelie, this week’s DEKALB East Division Player of the Week, is coming off a six-point week last week.
The 17-year-old from Iqaluit, Nunavut currently leads the Northstars in scoring with seven goals and five assists for 12 points and is tied for sixth in league scoring.
