Tag this Thompson: Graffiti lessons for the city

Inset: Chris Sharpe, Main Photo: Matt Durnan

Winnipeg-based graffiti artist Nereo Eugenio made a stop in Thompson for a weeklong summer camp to teach kids about graffiti. While in town he added some of his own work to the Thompson Skateboard Park. Chris Sharpe, who says his hope was that kids would learn that graffiti is an art form and not just scribbling on walls, brought Nereo to Thompson. Inset: Nereo Eugenio “breaks” from his work to strike a pose. Main photo: Eugenio working on his second of two pieces at the skate park (foreground is the first).
