Hotdog help out

"Heart to God and Hand to Man" is the slogan that Maj. Betty-Lou R. Topping, the new corps officer or pastor for the Salvation Army in Thompson since she arrived last month, has been putting into practice. On Aug. 2, the Salvation Army distributed 100 hotdogs to the homeless in the municipal parking lot used mainly by Canadian Tire customers near the Thompson Homeless Shelter, or Nanatowiho Wikamik Homeless Shelter as it is also called, at 115 Churchill Dr. “This lady asked for prayer, so we prayed! Bless the Lord,” Topping said.
